You can use the online Trip Planner to get you to Metro's Navy Yard station (located on the Green Line). Then use our handy walking map to get you from the station to Nationals Park.

Where is the Ballpark?

The entire ballpark district is undergoing a rebirth. The Capitol Riverfront Business Improvement District (BID) works to make the neighborhood clean, safe, friendly and vibrant. Look for the BID's Clean & Safe team members in their bright blue uniforms. They are happy to offer assistance and give directions. Don't be shy. They're there to help, so step up to the plate and ask.

Metrobus to Nationals Park

Buses that serve Nationals Park are: 70, P1, P2, V7, V8, and V9 and Capitol Hill Circulator.

MetroAccess Customers

MetroAccess has designated a specific drop-off and pick-up location to serve all MetroAccess customers going to Nationals Park. MetroAccess will drop-off and pick-up customers at the corner of New Jersey Ave, SE and M St, SE. Click here for a map of the area. Metro SmarTrip® card

Remember a SmarTrip® card is required to exit Metro's Park and Ride lots. The lots don't accept cash or farecards as payment. So just bring your SmarTrip® card. It's safe and secure. SmarTrip® cards are sold online and from vending machines at all stations where parking is available.

Parking at a Metro station?

On Saturday, Sunday and Federal holidays parking is FREE at Metro Park and Ride lots.
So whenever you travel—during the week and on weekends—Metro is the best way to go.

Note: Credit Card pilot program
Paying to park has gotten easier. Customers can pay the daily parking fee with a major credit card at six pilot Metrorail stations. The parking facilities at the Anacostia, Franconia-Springfield, Largo Town Center, Vienna/Fairfax-GMU, Shady Grove and New Carrollton Metrorail stations have exit lanes where credit cards are accepted. Customers are able to use their Discover, Mastercard, Visa, American Express or Japanese Credit Bank cards at these locations. A credit card reader is installed next to the existing SmarTrip® card target reader on the side of the booth within the appropriate lane.
