- Before applying for positions from a computer running the Microsoft Vista operating system, you may need to make one setting change.
- Before you begin your application, collect current and prior employment information and education details.
- To apply for Metro positions, you must first create an online profile. Applicants with incomplete profiles may not be considered.
- Allow sufficient time to complete the application. The process takes approximately 30 minutes and the application cannot be saved until it is complete.
- The system automatically times out after 20 minutes of inactivity. If this happens, your information will be lost. Your application is not saved until you have clicked the "Submit" button on the last page.
- Do not use your Internet browser Back button. This will cause the page to expire, and your application will not be saved. To toggle between pages, use the Next and Previous buttons at the bottom of each page.
- Add "PS_HRMS@wmata.com" to your trusted email recipient list to ensure successful delivery of any emails sent from our system.
- Applications must be submitted online by midnight of the closing date on the posting.
- Metro reserves the right to cancel or end early any posted position.
