Procurement & Contracting

Before bidding on procurements being sourced by Metro, all vendors must register in the Vendor Registration System. Also, Small Local Businesses and/or Disadvantaged Business Enterprises must complete two additional steps in order to become certified with Metro.

Follow these important tips when using our registration system:

  • Use the arrow keys on each page to navigate between pages; do not use your browser "back button".
  • For best performance, use Internet Explorer 7 as your browser.
  • Usernames and passwords are case sensitive; after 3 incorrect tries, the system will lock you out.
  • Login data expires if not used within 90 days

Vendor Registration System

All vendors must be registered in the Vendor Registration System (also referred to as the Bidder Registration System) before being eligible for procurements sourced by Metro's Procurement Department.

Small Local Businesses

All vendors who qualify according to SBA standards must complete and return the "Affidavit of Certification of Small Business" to be in a database used for sourcing simplified acquisitions (non-federally funded and below $100,000). There is a link to that affidavit form while registering in the Vendor Registration System under "Step 6, Additional Classification Information".

Disadvantaged Business Enterprises

All DBEs must be certified by Metro's Office of Community Relations, DBE Branch before they can bid on federally funded procurements.
