Project Vision
Below is a possible development vision (which includes adjacent land not part of the Metro property) based on a previously proposed project around the West Hyattsville Metrorail station
The project vision is a new transit-oriented, mixed-use community that incorporates a variety of town homes, condominiums, office, significant retail, public open spaces as well as major Metro improvements. The project will create a pedestrian-friendly community which will interface with the existing surrounding neighborhoods. The projected will be bisected by the Metrorail station thereby forming two development areas.

Structures on the site include: the elevated Green Line tracks, which divide the site in two, the West Hyattsville Metrorail station and related WMATA facilities, a 453-space park and ride parking lot, a 110-space metered surface parking lot, bus bays and access roads.
