Castle Blvd, including the bus turn-around at its north end, will be served by a small shuttle, connecting passengers from Briggs Chaney Park-and-Ride Lot. All passengers wanting service to Castle Blvd should use the small shuttle from Briggs Chaney Park-and-Ride Lot. The remainder of the Z8 route will continue to be served by Metro's standard buses.
1B, 1C, 2A, 2C, 2T	11/02/11	06/30/14	Joint Development Project Construction Dunn Loring – Merrifield Station Detour Start Date Monday, November 7, 2011 Detour End Date Monday, June 30, 2014 Due to construction of a joint development project at Dunn Loring-Merrifield Station, the current bus terminal and kiss & ride lot will be closed for approximately 2.5 years, starting on Monday, November 7, 2011. Metrobus will perform the following detours during this time: 1B, 2A - Westbound • Trips to Dunn Loring will operate via regular route to Gallows Rd and Prosperity Av, then left on Prosperity Av to a temporary terminal stand west of Gallows Rd. 1B, 2A - Eastbound • Trips leaving Dunn Loring will operate via Prosperity Av, left on Merrilee Dr, left on Lee Hwy, and continue regular route at Gallows Rd to Ballston-MU Station. 1C - Eastbound • Trips to Dunn Loring will operate via regular route to Gallows Rd and Prosperity Av, then left on Prosperity Av to a temporary terminal stand west of Gallows Rd. 1C - Westbound • Trips leaving Dunn Loring will operate via Prosperity Av, left on Merrilee Dr, left on Lee Hwy, and continue regular route at Gallows Rd to Fair Oaks Mall. 2C – Eastbound and Westbound • Trips will serve temporary stops at a new crosswalk on Gallows Rd at Dunn Loring-Merrifield Station, then continue regular route to Ballston-MU Station or Tysons Corner. 2T - Southbound • Trips to Dunn Loring will serve a temporary stop at a new crosswalk on southbound Gallows Rd at Dunn Loring – Merrifield Station, and then continue Gallows Rd and right onto Prosperity Av to a temporary terminal stand west of Gallows Rd. 2T - Northbound • Trips leaving Dunn Loring will operate via Prosperity Av, left on Merrilee Drive, left on Lee Hwy, left on Gallows Rd to the temporary stop on northbound Gallows Rd opposite Dunn Loring-Merrifield Station, then continue on Gallows Rd, left on Cottage St, and continue regular route to Tysons Corner.
C8	06/14/11	03/05/12	Due to construction on the NRC Building, the north sidewalk along Marinelli Road will be closed for approximately seven (7) months. Metrobus route C8 and Ride On bus route 81 stops will be relocated to the far side of northbound Rockville Pike and far side of westbound Marinelli Road. To cross Rockville Pike customers may use the underpass to get to and from the station. The underpass is not ADA accessible. Customers that need elevator access must use the crosswalks at Rockville Pike and Marinelli Road. Please see map.

1A, 1C, 1Z	11/17/11	Until further notice	Construction at Inova Fairfax Hospital Effective Saturday, November 19, 2011 Until Further Notice As part of Inova Fairfax Hospital’s ongoing expansion project, the current temporary bus stop in the south parking lot will be relocated to a new three-bus pulloff on the northbound hospital access road from Woodburn Road, near side of the main hospital roadway. Buses will detour via Woodburn Road to access the temporary bus stop and return to Gallows Road via the current main hospital roadway. 3A, 3B, 3E, 4A, 4B, 4E, 4H, 5A, 15K, 15L, 38B	06/02/11	12/31/12	Blasting activity as part of the new elevator and office building construction will occur at the Rosslyn Metrorail Station starting in late March 2011 continuing through January 2012. As a result, North Moore Street may be shut down for approximately six minutes. Passengers will not be allowed to access bus bays at Rosslyn Metrorail Station during blasting. In the case of any perimeter restrictions in regards to blasting, passengers will be directed to board buses on 19th Street North and North Lynn Street. G8	06/02/11	Until further notice	Due to construction of a new hotel at the corner of 9th Street NW and L Street NW, this bus stop has been relocated to 9th Street NW and M Street NW. The bus stop at 9th Street NW and Massachusetts Avenue has been closed and relocated to 9th Street NW and K Street NW. This will be in place until further notice.
W19	11/17/11	Until further notice	Re-Location of Bryans Road Park-and-Ride Lot Effective Monday, November 21, 2011 Continuing until further notice Location of Event Bryans Rd, MD – Bryans Road Park-and-Ride Lot Beginning Monday, November 21, 2011, the Bryans Road Park-and-Ride Lot behind the Volunteer Fire Department will be relocated to the Food Lion lot at 2960 Marshall Hall Rd, Bryans Road, MD. This is due to a construction project at the Fire Department facility.
Y5, Y7	12/15/11	Until further notice	ICC Park-and-Ride Lot / Norbeck Park-and-Ride Lot Effective December 15, 2011, until further notice Construction of the new ICC Park-and-Ride lot is behind schedule. It will NOT be open by its original planned completion date of December 18, 2011. Therefore, Y5 and Y7 buses will continue to use the current Norbeck Park-and-Ride lot until further notice.

4B, 38B	08/10/11	Until further notice	Due to a Clarendon Boulevard construction site collapse, Clarendon Blvd. eastbound from N. Pierce St. to N. Oak St. is closed. This closure will remain in effect for several days. Those destined for Rosslyn should expect congestion/delays. Transit, pedestrian and bicycle routes also are affected. Metrobus routes 4B and 38B are detoured; delays may occur. The following local roads also are closed: 16th Rd. from N. Pierce St. to N. Oak St. and N. Ode St. from Clarendon Blvd. to 16th Rd.
96, 97, D6, D8, X8	08/26/11	Until further notice	Columbus Circle Re-Construction Sunday, September 11, 2011, and continuing until further notice Daily, until further notice Location of Event DC – Columbus Circle – Massachusetts Av NE, between 1st St NE and 2nd St NE On or about September 11, 2011, the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will begin reconstruction of Columbus Plaza in front of Union Station. During construction, which is expected to last approximately 18 months, traffic congestion is anticipated to cause significant delays for vehicles traveling through the plaza. In addition, the bus stop and terminal stand for Routes 97, D8, and X8 in the plaza and the westbound stop on Columbus Circle (Union Station Plaza outer roadway) for Routes 96 and D6 will be closed for construction. In order to maintain Metrobus service to Union Station safely and efficiently, the stop and terminal stand for Routes 97, D8, and X8 will be relocated to the south side of Massachusetts Avenue NE between North Capitol Street and 1st St NE. Also, westbound Route D6 will be re-routed to serve a new stop on the north side of E Street NE, east of North Capitol Street.
