Riders' Advisory Council Application

Call for applications for vacancies on Metro’s Riders' Advisory Council.

Metro's Board of Directors wants to hear from people like you.

Metro's customers have a lot to say about our service. More importantly, they have a lot of good ideas to share. The Riders' Advisory Council offers Metro customers a chance to participate in making Metro better.

Metro is currently soliciting applications from customers interested in filling vacancies on the Riders' Advisory Council.

Do you qualify?

We encourage you to apply for membership if you:

1. Ride Metrobus, Metrorail or MetroAccess;

2. Are not employed by Metro or a Metro contractor;

3. Are not an elected official; and

4. Live within the Metro service area.

How members are selected.

Metro's Board of Directors will appoint candidates that represent an accurate cross section of customers and different locations in Metro's service area.

With a limited number of vacancies on the Council, unfortunately not every applicant can be accepted. If you are not selected to fill a position on the Council, your application will be kept on file by Metro for one year and reviewed again when the Board of Directors makes subsequent appointments for which you are eligible.

What you give. What you get.

If selected, you'll advise Metro's Board of Directors and offer input to Metro staff on how to improve Metro's service. You won't be paid, but you will have the opportunity to help make a difference in the way Metro serves the region.

For more about the Council, see the main Riders' Advisory Council page.
