Track Repairman Michael Nash involved in Sunday's fatal accident

Veteran employee had been with Metro for 21 years

Track Repairman Michael Nash, 63, of Silver Spring, MD, was the Metro employee fatally struck by the ballast regulator on Sunday, August 9.

The 21-year veteran died while conducting track maintenance along the Orange Line. Nash had been a Metro track repairman since 1990.
