Independent safety oversight is key to the safe and efficient operation of Metro's transit service, and we view the agencies who provide oversight as our partners in a common goal – keeping passengers and employees safe every day. This page provides available information on investigations by the Tri-State Oversight Committee and the National Transportation Safety Board and on Metro actions taken as a result of their recommendations.
