Metro auditions DC Metrorail station performers

What: Metro is seeking the District of Columbia's finest performers to audition for season two of MetroPerforms! Auditions are for the selection of performances at 10 DC Metrorail stations. Singer, dancers, musicians, poets, acting troupes, and all performing artists are welcome to try out. Developed by Metro's Art in Transit program, MetroPerforms! showcases the talents of local performing artists at select Metrorail station entrances. Performers will be judged by five local leaders in the performing arts community.

Individuals and groups will audition on a first-come, first-served basis.

When: 5 to 8 p.m., Friday, May 2
9 to 6 p.m., Saturday, May 3

Where: Metro Headquarters, 600 5th St, NW, Washington, DC

Who: Metro's Art in Transit Program Manager Michael McBride and members of Washington, D.C.'s talented and diverse performing arts community.
